Education and Fun, While Raising Money for Charity
MIAMI, FL (February 2, 2016) Miami Data Vault (MDV), Miami’s first and most secure data center and colocation facility, and Cloud Computing Concepts (C3), an industry leader in cost-effective cloud technologies, services, and support, joined forces to host their third annual open house. Held at MDV, this year’s theme, “Gamble for Fun, Not with Your Business,” provided an exciting evening complete with a modern day casino, where guests played craps, roulette, blackjack, and Texas Hold’em, while enjoying cocktails and light bites.
Prior to the gambling fun, when guests were provided with $5,000 of “funny money” to play to win prizes, including a MacBook Air, iPad Air 2, and Apple Watch, attendees were treated to three educational seminars. The informative presentations included: Curtis Magnuszewski with VMware on Hybrid Cloud with Ingram Micro; Stu Kolinsky with IPFone on Hosted PBX; and Rick Mancinelli with C3 on Cyber Security. Guests also were given a behind-the-scenes tour of MDV’s 100,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art data center.
A raffle conducted throughout the evening benefitted the South Florida Digital Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to bridging the digital divide by making technology available to those less fortunate, and Kids Can, a fantastic organization run by kids, for kids. Event sponsors included: AT&T, Compliance Solutions, IPFone, VMware, Cisco, Intel, FPL FIberNet, Atlantic Broadband, and Precision Telecom.
