C3 Accepts $38,000 Incentive from Delray CRA

Firm Prepares To Relocate Headquarters to Delray Beach

June 5, 2013 (Delray Beach, FL) — The Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency has approved an incentive of $38,023.85 for the technology and IT services firm Cloud Computing Concepts (C3) to relocate its corporate headquarters from Boca Raton to Delray Beach. The globally recognized company will bring nearly 20 new employees to the downtown area before the end of the year.

On May 23, 2013, the CRA board approved an agreement with C3 under the Job Creation Bonus Program, which rewards the company for bringing high-paying jobs to the city and retaining them over a five-year period. The program is just one of the incentives the CRA offers to attract companies in targeted industries to Delray Beach.

“Innovative firms like C3 are a perfect fit for Delray Beach, and we hope these incentives help them reach that conclusion,” said CRA Economic Development Director Vin Nolan. “Such companies want to be downtown, in a chic urban environment with cultural amenities, and they’re willing to invest in retrofitting existing space to meet their needs.” C3 is currently renovating 2,500 square feet of downtown office space in a mixed-use building on East Atlantic Avenue.

The CRA board also approved a $6,000 rent subsidy for C3 through the Business Development Assistance Program. Once the renovation is complete, the business will relocate its 13 existing employees and is slated to create an additional seven job positions within six months.

With a second facility in New York and a third in development in Nevada, C3 delivers onsite and cloud-based IT solutions to businesses across the country. In 2012, C3 was named one of 50 Florida Companies to Watch by the Florida Economic Gardening Institute, and was ranked 84 of the world’s 100 top cloud service providers. CEO Rick Mancinelli was also featured as one of the top 50 Entrepreneurs in South Florida by Business Leader Magazine in 2012.
